Hello again, thanks for checking in.
It is the Monday after Easter and what have we learned?
There is one glaring message to have learned: Jesus’ earthly mission and ministry must go on through us, his followers. Jesus did not have to close out his message of love upon his death on the cross. Jesus rose three days later and that made all the difference. And that gave all of us the challenge to go out and spread the good news in his name.
My TO DO list is long on this Monday as I neglected to accomplish a few things earlier last week. But topping the list is TO SHOW LOVE, Jesus’ quintessential message!
–at the market
–with my neighbors
–with customer service
–to my sometimes finicky dog
–to myself, as we often can be our own harshest critics
I will treasure Jesus’ sacrifice for me and will try to live up to the hopes my heavenly father has for me.
