Jeremiah 31:3

“The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.” Jeremiah 31:13

Such a powerful message to dissect!

The Lord has LOVED us. (Not sort of or kind of, but God truly loves us!)

That love is EVERLASTING. (Not maybe or “for now,” or with conditions, but rather it’s forever and it is true.)

God has DRAWN us…pulled us in, reined us in heart to heart–always tugging us toward such a timeless and precious love.

UNFAILING KINDNESS is there for us, and God’s appearance in our lives is something to be looked for, expected and cherished. There will be no chastisement, guilt nor shame. God’s sacrifices and grace erase all that!

Lord God, open my heart mind and soul to be available to you just as you are available to me. I pray this in Jesus’ heavenly name. AMEN.
