What Does This Mean?

“Whoever walks wisely will be delivered.” Proverbs 28:26

I am a good person.

I try to follow rules, see kindness in others, show care to others, speak with thoughtful words etc…

Perhaps you may even see yourself that way…honest, true, caring, sincere.

There are many positive words we can use to describe ourselves.

Admittedly though, I am not “all that” all the time. My human nature takes over at times and I may fall to rudeness, impatience, judgment, and a cavalier attitude.

THAT is why we need the Lord.

How in the world can we walk a path of wisdom by ourselves?

I do not have enough strength to do so. Do you?

I need reminders and nudges and a push from time to time to handle life well.

But everyday brings a new adventure in faith and “FOLLOWSHIP.”

I just made up that word to describe the journey of following God’s path, will and plan.

In a second glance at the Proverb, I still must ask, “What does this mean?”

To sort this out I shall start with followship!
