May I Have a Word with You?

Some folks feel shivers up their spine upon hearing that question. I want to put a spin on this.

May I have THE WORD with you? Jesus is referenced in the Bible as THE WORD. It is believed by theologians that Jesus was the personification of the Word of God and God’s wisdom and therefore is referred to as THE WORD.

I want to share that with you. I want to share words about Jesus that come to my mind. (Words about THE WORD)

This will be a quick exercise for me. I will try to share all I can think of in a short amount of time. May I have THE WORD with you? Here goes 30 seconds:

LOVE

STRENGTH

PEACE

GOD

BLESSINGS

POWER

GRACE

FORGIVENESS

WISDOM

Done! I did it!

And now I challenge you. Yes…I want to have THE WORD with you…what comes to your mind when you think of Jesus? What words work for you?

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1:14).
