I recently spotted an article on a website called LIVEHAPPY. The article spoke of 5 ways to feel better and live better.
- Eat good food–fresh and natural foods make us feel healthier.
- Seek peace of mind–quieting those thoughts of pain or agitation.
- Dress up your mood rather than dressing for your mood–when you want to curl up in an old college sweatshirt, but the day requires much more, choose something pretty to wear that makes you feel perked up.
- Exercise–moving around sometimes jogs the mood and spirit of the day.
- Don’t compare yourself to others–SIMPLY. BE. YOU.
Yeah, yeah, I get it. Hey, some days are hard! They are stressful, worrisome and challenging. On some days it feels good to lounge in pajamas all day, but how shall we take on the day in our jammies?
The better question might be this: How shall I put my best foot forward?
Again, my thoughts block my view–how can I put my best foot forward when my shoes pinch or my knee aches sometimes? Aha –isn’t it so that our thoughts can defeat us even before the day begins? The concept is called “self talk” and social scientists tell us we believe what we fill our minds with. Messages we send ourselves are HUGE! We should be filling ourselves with positivity–right?
Mind over matter, wisdom over woe, patience over pain and pray for possibilities!

Liked the “God helps us handle what we are given”. Thanks for lifting me up with these words.
Thank you for sharing!
