Hello There!

7 Mar

Welcome to spiritandsoul.net. It is a sharing space for you and for me. How suitable to be launching this during Lent 2021. Do you remember the Lenten season of 2020? Many of us were separated from our loved ones, isolated in our homes with churches closed with fear in the air and very little to look forward to. Fast forward to now–there is a little brightness in the world. I speak these words because on the day of this writing the sun is indeed shining in Buffalo, NY! I can also add that our church is open and in person worship matters so much. Only reopened a few weeks, it rewards the heart and mind to refresh that Sunday routine having corporate worship and seeing friends, albeit from a distance and behind our face coverings. I feel blessed we will have that long missed resurrection celebration on Easter Sunday this year and I am reminded of a scriptural passage that speaks of patience and hope. Consider the Book of Ephesians:

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Ephesians 4:2

It is my hope you will find points of contemplation, pockets of wisdom and some opportunities to share as you peruse this space from time to time. For now, my friends, be well!

I have to say that during this time I have had the challenge of being patient and letting God guide me through this time.

We have to be patient with one another but also with situations. That was never more obvious than in the last year.
